Hotel built as part of a large-scale project for the foundation of the new administrative capital of Equatorial Guinea.
The hotel has 494 rooms, a presidential suite, 3 restaurants, a commercial area with shops, a spa area, gym and swimming pool, making it the largest hotel in Central Africa.Â
The Convention Centre adjacent to the hotel consists of two buildings in an L shape, hosting respectively the Lobby and the refreshment area with kitchen and service areas. The two buildings are joined by a large golden dome covering the convention hall.
The modern facades are made of thermal break Schuco profiles of mullion and transom type. To support the full-height facades in the hall zone, steel structures have been installed.
The ribbon windows on the various floors were also built using Schuco profiles and high-tech glass for energy saving.
Large lift and slide doors have been installed on the upper floors, for lower visual impact and to offer a better view over the golf course surrounding the hotel.
The Convention Centre has a curtain wall that surrounds the entire Lobby building giving maximum transparency and light to the interior while also offering a delightful engagement with the external environment.
